Samsung Galaxy Beam fue presentado en el MWC 2012, un smartphone con proyector, tanto para proyectar video como cualquier imagen que este en pantalla, viene a ser la actualización de otro modelo, el Samsung i8520 Galaxy Beam que fue lanzado en el año 2010, este nuevo modelo tiene pantalla de 4 pulgadas, pero la cámara es de 5 megapixels cuando el modelo anterior la tenía de 8 megapixels. Aumenta el procesador a 1 GHz y de doble núcleo, aumenta memoria RAM a 768MB, es curioso que en las especificaciones pongan que tiene 6GB de RAM, esta claro que es un error, según los de Mashable querían decir que la RAM va a una velocidad de 6GB.
