Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0, un reproductor con Android, fue presentado en el MWC 2011 junto con otro modelo de 4 pulgadas, este modelo tiene una pantalla orientable, multitáctil, capacitiva de 5 pulgadas, con resolución de 480 x 800 pixels a una densidad de 187 ppi.
Conectividad Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, USB y GPS. No tiene capacidad para redes telefónicas convencionales, pero permite utilizar Skype, Google Talk y otros.
Cámara de 3.2 pulgadas con autoenfoque y flash LED. Reproductor de música y vídeo con SounAlive y radio FM stereo con RDS.
Procesador de un sólo núcleo a 1 GHz, memoria interna de 8Gb ó 16GB según modelo y ranura de expansión para microSD de hasta 32GB.
Con batería Li-Polymer de 2500 mAh que le da una mayor autonomía de hasta 60 horas reproduciendo audio y 8 horas reproduciendo vídeo.
