Intro: Apple iPhone SE (2nd generation) 2020 – A2275


Apple iPhone SE (2020) fue presentado el 15 de abril de 2020, una nueva versión del que se presentó el año 2016, Con panel IPS de 4.7 pulgadas, ahora que la mayoría de los móviles son de 6.3 pulgadas o más, pero que lo hace más usable en la mano, sobre todo en manos pequeñas. Nos encontramos en el exterior con una pantalla de cristal, bordes de aluminio y la parte trasera también de cristal.

Con este smartphone volvemos a la estética que Apple mantenía hasta el año 2018, se nota con la menor superficie para la pantalla, no dispone del ya típico notch, con lo que la pantalla no aprovecha la parte superior, ni la inferior, como en los últimos modelos. Viene con el sistema operativo iOS 13 y tendrá actualización a la nueva versión cuando esté disponible, la única novedad es el chip que lleva integrado y las mejoras que hace posible este potente motor. Sólo lleva una cámara en la parte trasera rompiendo con la tendencia actual de llevar dos o más.







iPhone SE está dotado con el Chip A13 Bionic, el mismo cerebro del iPhone 11 Pro, realizado con un proceso de 7 nm+, en un SoC basado en ARM de 64-bit, un motor de 6 núcleos y 8.500 millones de transistores. La CPU consta de 4 núcleos de ahorro de energía (efficiency cores) llamados Thunder y dos núcleos de alta potencia llamados Lightning que funcionan a 2.65 GHz. La GPU también mejora, esta unidad gráfica consta de cuatro núcleos, en teoría con un 20% más de rendimiento y un consumo de energía de un 40% menos. La unidad neural consta de ocho núcleos, como el anterior, pero con un 15% de eficiencia, un consumo de un 20% menos, este último componente se ocupa en gran parte de las capacidades fotográficas, trabaja la tecnología Deep Fusion para dar rendimiento con la inteligencia artificial y el aprendizaje

Este procesador apareció el 10 de septiembre de 2019 con los modelos iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro y iPhone 11 Pro Max. No está preparado para redes 5G, ni se espera que lo esté con las actualizaciones, para ello habrá que esperar a futuros modelos en que seguramente estará presente Qualcomm ahora que ya han resuelto una importante batalla legal.

Seguimos con el chip a13 Bionic, ya que es lo más destacado de este smartphone y destacan las mejoras en la cámara. El sistema de cámara avanzado incluye el modo Retrato, que difumina el fondo y resalta al protagonista incluso cuando haces selfis. Permite control de profundidad pudiendo regular el nivel de difuminado incluso después de hacer la foto. Para iluminar los retratos puedes elegir entre seis efectos de estudio, ajustar la intensidad de la iluminación y conseguir que el sujeto brille con luz propia. El vídeo es de 4K, una definición cuatro veces mayor que el formato 1080p HD. Con QuickTake cuando haces una foto puedes pasar a que sea un vídeo con tan solo mantener pulsado el disparador, así no tienes que salir del modo foto para hacer un vídeo. 




Apple no precisa de una RAM muy alta, con 3GB de RAM tiene suficiente para funcionar bien, no como otros fabricantes que llegan a tener hasta 16GB de RAM, en cuanto al almacenamiento siempre juegan muy alto con modelos de 64, 128 y 256 GB, pero sin ranura de expansión, aunque algunos la notarán a faltar, pero con tanto espacio para almacenar no hará ninguna falta.

Es resistente al agua, aguanta hasta un metro de profundidad durante 30 minutos, también soporta salpicaduras y el polvo. No es para buceo precisamente, pero estará a salvo de muchos despistes
