Samsung Galaxy Pocket, un smartphone básico, de algo menos de 100 gramos y reducidas dimensiones, destinado a los clientes que no sean demasiado exigentes en cuanto a potencia y prestaciones. Esta previsto su lanzamiento este mes en Italia, para luego ir introduciéndolo en el resto de Europa y otros continentes. Tambien esta disponible en la web de Samsung en Alemania donde se puede adquirir por 199 €.
Con pantalla de 2.8 pulgadas, cámara de 2 megapixels, procesador a 832 MHz, memoria interna de 3GB y ranura de expansion para microSD de hasta 32GB. Para redes 2G y 3G, conectividad Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB y A-GPS.
En la web de Samnsung Italia se mencionan 4GB de memoria interna y para redes CDMA junto con las de UMTS, pero mas bien parece un error en lugar de poner W-CDMA como en la web alemana, probablemente tengamos una variante con CDMA para otros continentes, pero no parece que vaya a ser lanzado en Estados Unidos.
