HTC EVO V 4G fue presentado en Mayo para Virgin Mobile USA, una empresa del mismo grupo que Sprint, esta última ya lo tuvo hace un año bajo el nombre de HTV EVO 3D, son idénticos, así que ambos permiten imágenes en 3D, solo que Virgin Mobile ofrece planes sin contrato y este era su primer smartphone para redes 4G, y se lanza ya con Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Tambien lanzaron HTC EVO 3D versión GSM para el mercado global
Pantalla qHD de 4.3 pulgadas (109 mm en diagonal), orientable, multitáctil, capacitiva, resolución de 540 x 960 píxeles y densidad de 256 ppi.
Cámara doble de 5 megapíxeles, doble para obtener 3D, con enfoque automático para 2D, flash LED, cámara frontal de 1.3 megapíxeles, grabación y reproducción a 1080p HD.
Conectividad Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, GPS y conector audio de 3.5 mm.
Procesador de dos núcleos a 1.2 GHz, 1GB de RAM, 4GB de ROM, y ranura de expansión para microSD de hasta 32GB, viene con una microSD de 8GB.
