LG Optimus 2X fue presentado en el CES2011, fue uno de los primeros con procesador de doble núcleo y grandes pantallas, aunque ahora ya aparecen los primeros rozando las 5 pulgada, acercándose cada vez mas a los tablets de 7 a 10 pulgadas...
Apareció con Android 2.2 Froyo, pero ya se puede actualizar a 2.3 Gingerbread. Con pantalla de 4 pulgadas, resolución de 480 x 800 pixels y densidad de 233 dpi. Para redes 2G GSM y 3G UMTS, conectividad Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, HDMI, conector audio de 3.5 mm y GPS. Cámara de 8 megapixels y secundaria frontal de 1.3 megapixels, con auto enfoque y flash LED, grabación y reproducción de vídeo a 1080p HD. Radio FM stereo. Procesador de doble núcleo NVIDIA Tegra 2 a 1 GHz, 512MB de RAM, memoria interna de 8GB y ranura de expansión microSD de hasta 32GB. Mas las habituales aplicaciones de gestión personal, mensajería, redes sociales y Android Market.
